Précision_sur la representation :	L'effigie de Saint Isidore de Madrid, figuré en paysan endimanché correspond tout à fait à l'image du nouveau saint protecteur des campagnes tardivement diffusé dans le Pays de Nice comme en Ligurie autour de 1800. Saint Isidore jeune homme barbu est représenté en pied, en tenue de fêtes de paysan, inspiré par le 18e siècle : haut de chausses, taïole, longue chemise et camail, une gourde suspendue à son cou, de sa main gauche il brandit une gerbe de céréales et de la droite tient une bêche.
