Description :	Par sa composition d'ensemble, cette statue rappelle les groupes sculptés aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles, inspirés par les Vierge de l'Assomption de l'école de Bologne. Cependant ici, la figure de la Vierge glorieuse, représetnée en pied sur un nuage rehaussé de chérubins, étendant ses bras et fixant le ciel est beaucoup plus figée. Sa tunique, son manteau et le voile recouvrant sa tête sont dorés comme la tunique des putti qui la flanquent, soutenant ses bras.
