Description :	Dans une salle au sol carrélé avec élégance, saint Augustin est représenté en pied, au centre, revêtu des insignes épiscopaux et tenant de sa main gauche un coeur enflammé. Ses yeux fixent le ciel où un rayonnement lumineux irradie la pièce (scène de l'apparition de la Trinité). Saint Augustin est symboliquement entouré de deux moines de son ordre, revêtus de la bure sombre : l'un joint ses mains en signe de recueillement et l'autre tient un livre.
