Description :	La partie centrale de la toile présente la remise du rosaire à saint Dominique et à sainte Catherine de Sienne. Derrière sainte Catherine, se trouve un roi et derrière saint Dominique, un évêque. Au-dessus de la Vierge, deux angelots s'apprêtent à la couronner. Tout autour de cette scène centrale sont peintes des scènes de la vie du Christ et de la vie de la Vierge allant de l'Annonciation à l'Ascension et à l'Assomption.

Historique :	En accordant au notaire Antoine Flour, en 1638, l'autorisation de construire la chapelle de Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Mgr Godeau lui demanda d'y adjoindre un retable où serait dépeint le roi à genoux, aux pieds de la Vierge lui offrant sa couronne et autres images de dévotion. Bien que l'offre de la couronne ne soit pas très explicite, il semblerait que la demande de l'évêque ait été exaucée.
