Description :	Autel : table d'autel ; bas-relief devant l'autel : tête de saint Jean-Baptiste sur un plateau, dans un médaillon à décor baroque de volutes et feuilles d'acanthe ; deux tablettes, au-dessus de la table d'autel, incurvées avec incurstations de marbres polychromes ; tabernacle ; deux volées de marches encadrant l'autel et conduisant aux fonts baptismaux. Retable de marbre blanc : une niche centrale où est placé le groupe du Christ et saint Jean-Baptiste, avec au centre du cintre, deux têtes d'anges ; en-dessous, le bassin baptismal, en forme de conque, reposant sur une colonnette de marbre ; se détachant du fond, encadrement de deux colonnes à fûts cannelés et chapiteaux corinthiens ; un fronton orné de volutes sur lesquelles deux anges sont assis, avec au centre, une colombe voletant dans un cartouche.
